Our team was at the XXIV Apáczai Summer Academy Interdisciplinary Training!

At the invitation of the Association of Hungarian Pedagogues of Vojvodina, the final day included particularly exciting robotics-related lectures and workshops, which were of great interest to the participants.

During the morning, participants were introduced to a number of educational robots that can be programmed without a computer. These robots, such as the TrueTrue, the Sphero indi, the intelino, the Matata Studio VinciBot, the VEX Robotics 123, the HP Robots, also the Matata Studio Matatalab robot and the Cubico, are excellent tools for coding without a screen, providing a playful and interactive way to learn the basics of programming for all ages.

The afternoon was spent demonstrating Artec ROBO robots and exploring their programming possibilities. In two groups, the participants learned the ins and outs of robot programming using a Scratch-based visual programming interface and Python. Through practical examples, the sessions explored how these modern educational tools can be used to develop students’ creativity and problem-solving skills.

The day also included a discussion on the opportunities for applications, which offer further development and learning opportunities for educational institutions and teachers. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of artificial intelligence and robotics in education, which is a key element of the digital education of the future.

Many thanks to everyone who joined us for this exciting day! The positive feedback and enthusiastic participation shows that there is a growing interest in robotics and programming in the educational community. We are already looking forward to next year so that we can learn and grow together again!
